Behind the digital curtain: we see life through screens

Abstract

Humans are visual creatures; about 80% of the information we perceive is captured through sight. Today, in the digital age, our lives have become intertwined with screens of various forms, from smartphones to computers to televisions, shaping our perception of the world and ourselves. In this talk we analyze how the algorithms that govern our consumption of digital content operate. In addition, we will reflect on how we can find a healthy balance between the digital world and the real world.
